| Traveling Gavel The traveling gavel is
currently at the BEDFORD COUNTY (July 21, 2008). In order to “take” the
gavel, 3 members of your club (1 has to be a Board member) must visit
the club. You must notify the club at least 3 days before visiting. The
club that has the gavel more than 60 days must return it to the District
President. In order to win the District contest you must have the
Traveling Gavel in your possession and bring it to the District
Convention in 2009. The winning club will receive a $100 shopping spree
for National supplies.
